It was August 2000 on Martha’s Vineyard. The Biggers family gathered for their annual reunion on the beach. But instead of week of fun in the sun, the forecast predicted 7 straight days of rain. That’s when Kelsey Biggers (Dr. Golf) suggested the cousins make a detective movie. “Use my camera” he said, “let’s have some fun despite the rain.” Little did he know that that simple suggestion would set into motion a series of events that are still being unraveled to this day.

Dastardly Scheme now spans 20 years and encompasses 4 generations of Biggers, from Madame Maxime, played by our late grandmother Ella (Gomy) Muzzy, to Pandora played by Lila O’Keefe. Dastardly Scheme has brought our family countless memories, laughs and inside jokes. THE PLAGUE?!

As our family has grown and the grandkids have started families of their own, Dastardly has taken on a new form. The last 3 Dastardly’s have been filmed during the weddings of Erin Curren, Ryan O’Keefe & Brendan O’Keefe. This new chapter in Dastardly has created another level of family tradition and fun that none of us could have anticipated 20 years ago.
